I finished separating added Stone Age values from technology definitions. I still need to add text and images, make dependency and grid changes.

Once that is done I may try a test, but I still need to figure out how to add the new eras and change the starting techs.

Using WoCConverter, I was able to split most of the XML files, saving a lot of work. I still need to do the Civics, add schema and art, implement WoC folder structure and make changes in the XML for the additions from the Stone Age Mod.

    World of Civilization

    November 19, 2009 by A morris

The more I research World of Civilization Mod, the more I think that it has done a lot of the work for us. The only problem is that some features are still unfinished.

I am also compiling a list of other mods that we may want to add.

    WoC's Neolithic Era module

    November 18, 2009 by A morris

I played two games of the World of Civilization Mod starting in the Neolithic Era.

In my first game I started with a Hunter and began researching Agriculture to enable city founding. I gained a Warrior from a goody hut and lost my Hunter before finishing researching Agriculture. I don't know if this is why I couldn't found any cities or if it is because I didn't start with a Camp unit.

In my second game, I started with a Hunter and a Camp unit. The camp looks like a caravan until you fortify it and then it looks like two tents. The Camp is supposed to be able to produce units. I didn't receive any until I finished researching Agriculture, then I got a Settler, another Camp, and a Hawk (which I seem to have lost).
